Variable Fields and Data Drops
In some client scripts, you may encounter a variable field or data drop - a section that contains unique information for each individual record.
For example, a script might ask a respondent to confirm their mailing address, displaying it as "Just to confirm, is your address still (VAR1)?"
When building a new project, the call center will need access to the respondent's address information so the dialer system can automatically load it into the script for the agent to read. This is done by selecting the "Misc Send Field" button and choosing the appropriate field when loading new data.
In rare cases, a script may require a variable field with unique scripting. These fields have a 225-character limit, so if the variable data exceeds that, multiple misc send fields may be necessary.
