Freeform Responses

What is a freeform response?

Freeform responses are simply any unscripted responses given by the call recipient. These types of responses are recorded verbatim by the call center agent and the responses are made available in the data.

Why would I use freeform responses in a script?

These types are very useful for questions that have several possible responses i.e. 'What is the most important issue to you when voting for a candidate?'. These types of responses allow for more flexibility and creativity when building a script.
