Special Exception Metrics (SPEX)
Throughout the day, SPEX projects must be closely managed and their metrics checked frequently.
SPEX refers to any project that falls outside the normal project metrics, such as hourly programs, long surveys, projects with open captures, reservations, commitments (e.g., RSVP events), yard signs, rides to the polls, and multiple quotas.
To differentiate SPEX projects from normal projects, all SPEX project descriptions should include an asterisk (*) with a space before it (e.g., "ABC Voter Survey *"). Managers should provide thorough details in the Manager Notes about the specific metrics and requirements for each SPEX project. The Call Center Notes should also include the detailed metric information.
Project Wellness Checks should be conducted periodically throughout the day to ensure there are no issues and everything is running smoothly for SPEX projects.
