Before initiating a new calling campaign in COS, the list of records must first be "scrubbed" or marked to identify Wireless and Landline numbers.
This scrubbing process is essential - you cannot create a dialer for Predictive or Manual calling without performing it. The scrubbing action in COS will mark which numbers are landlines and which are cell phones. To do this:
- Go to the project dashboard and click "Campaign Database".
- Select the "List Scrub" option. COS will have "Mark Cells as Wireless" pre-selected.
- Click "Run Action".
- Click the dropdown box again and select "Mark Litigator numbers as status DNC".
- Click "Run Action".
Key Scrub Action Descriptions:
- "Mark Cells as Wireless" - This flags every cell record in the list. This MUST be done for every project.
- "Mark Cells as Wireless and update status to WI" - This flags cell records and sets the status in COS to WI.
- "Mark Litigator numbers as status LL" - This flags known litigator numbers and marks them as landlines in COS.
- "Mark Litigator numbers as status DNC" - This flags known litigator numbers and marks them as DNC in COS.
- "Delete Litigator numbers" - This permanently removes all known litigator numbers from the list.
- "Clear all Wireless status" - This removes all wireless flags from the cell records.
- "Delete Wireless records" - This permanently removes all records marked as cell phones.
- "Delete Landline records" - This permanently removes all records marked as landlines.
Note that deleting records should only be done for certain project types. For example, all cell phone records must be deleted from a Robo project, while all landline records would be deleted from a texting project.
Importantly, the "Mark Litigator numbers as status DNC" scrub action should be run on every project, live call or text. If more than 10% of a list contains Litigator numbers, notify the client and request further instruction.
