CBPP Refusal Codes

As a sub-client of TSG, CBPP requires the following refusal response codes to be included on every live call project setup:

  1. Refused Hostile: This code indicates the person responded to the canvasser in a hostile manner.

  2. Refused Contact Fatigue: This code should be used when the voter expresses that they have received too many contacts.

  3. Refused Offensive Language: This code is for instances where the voter used profanity, "MAGA," or other language that would be offensive to any volunteer.

  4. Refused Threatening: This code should be reserved only for responses that explicitly threaten harm.

  5. Refused Political/Issue Opposition: This code should be used for individuals whose hostility stems from opposition to the political candidate or issue the volunteer is supporting.

Additionally, the "Refused Other" code can be used for any other types of refusals not covered by the above categories.
