Live Call Pre-Recorded Voicemail Message

A COS (Campaign Operating System) project can be set up to allow agent or volunteer users to leave pre-recorded voicemail messages when making live calls. The agent user can manually leave the message by selecting the "Left Message" status code, or this feature can be used in conjunction with the COS Answering Machine Detect (AMD) functionality.

The AMD will automatically detect answering machines and will play the pre-recorded message without agent intervention. To set up a pre-recorded message:

1. Go to the COS project and select "Dialer Audio Files."
2. Click "Upload File" and select the audio file to upload.
3. Click "Upload."
4. Click "Script" and then "Save Dialer."

It's important to note that if a pre-recorded message is loaded into a COS project, the "Save Dialer" button must be clicked on the script edit page. If this step is not completed, the audio message will fail to play.

If no audio file is uploaded, the "Left Message" status code button can still be utilized to leave a live call voicemail message, but no pre-recorded message will play.
