Peer-to-Peer Messaging COS: Live Volunteer Support
The Peer-to-Peer Messaging COS utilizes live volunteers who communicate one-on-one with each contact. The advantage of this approach is that each response is analyzed by an actual person, rather than an automated system. Automated messages can only respond if the recipient provides a precise reply to trigger the automated response.
Volunteer Login and System
The COS offers a user-friendly system for volunteers to log in, send, and receive compliant messages. The open agent login allows volunteers to create their own credentials using a password provided by the organizers. This eliminates the need to manually create individual logins for each volunteer.
Sending and Receiving Messages
Once logged in, volunteers will be prompted to send the available SMS messages within their assigned program. They can continue sending messages until there are none remaining. The initial text can also be set to auto-send, so volunteers only need to reply.
Replying to Messages
As messages are received, volunteers can respond using real-time conversational tools. The COS provides two options for replies: coding responses based on pre-written options, or using a conversational mode that allows the volunteer to respond freely.
