Unregistered SMS/MMS Management

As of December 2024, COS no longer supports unregistered SMS/MMS messaging. Instead, campaigns must now be registered in order to send SMS/MMS programs.

If a client requests an SMS/MMS program, the standard response should be: "Received, is this campaign registered? Please provide the name of the 10dlc if so. Thanks." 

If the campaign is registered, the client must then send the name of the 10DLC they intend to use. If the campaign is not registered, the standard response should be: "Unfortunately, unregistered messaging is no longer available. To proceed with messaging, registration is required. Please let us know how you’d like to move forward, and we can assist with the necessary steps."
